Walking into her James Island living room reveals a carefully curated mix of color, texture and personality that breaks every “matchy-matchy” rule in the design book. The founder of One of a Find Charleston built her business on a simple philosophy: beautiful homes don’t require massive budgets. They require creativity, patience and a willingness to hunt for treasures. Her own living room serves as the perfect case study. From Side Hustle to Show Space Bukowsky’s journey to design obsession started as pure necessity. A young mom with three small kids and zero budget, she became fixated on the Palm Beach aesthetic while staring at hand-me-downs and garage sale finds. Facebook Marketplace became her hunting ground. "Technically I was not spending any money,” she explains with a laugh, describing her early furniture-flipping days. She’d sell her coffee table, buy something new from Marketplace, style it and repeat. The side hustle evolved into One of a Find Charleston, hitting Instagram at exactly the right moment.For two years, she ran a full showroom on Johns Island with vignettes and faux walls creating complete spaces. Post-pandemic, when everyone left their 9-to-5 to pursue side hustles, the vintage furniture market exploded.
