After practicing in Rhode Island for more than 20 years, Dr. Barbara Hess moved to Mount Pleasant and opened Hess Performance & Family Chiropractic during the height of the pandemic. “Moving and opening a practice was challenging but connecting with peers and other like-minded professionals was helpful,” she said. She explained that she loves being a chiropractor, as no other profession diagnoses and treats spinal subluxations.
