It’s only natural that she discovered The Founders Club—her school’s student organization promoting entrepreneurship and decided to get involved. Through The Founders Club, students interested in entrepreneurship find support through peer-to-peer coaching, business development resources, connections to successful local business owners and opportunities nesses. “When I got to the College of Charleston,” Noktes shared, “I didn’t join her sorority, but I wanted to find community.” She found it in The Founders Club. Today, Noktes is the club’s vice president. She organizes events and creates opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs on campus to grow. This year, they hosted an AI Innovation Competition, which brought in over 70 applications and the biggest donation of prize money in the club’s history. She says the club is “a learning experience” in teamwork and management. As for the future, Noktes is excited to explore her options. More immediately, she hopes to become the president of The Founders Club in her senior year.
