This vibrant event offers fun for the whole family. 23 Beach Putt Tournament A friendly bracket-style golf competition between two teams at Wild Dunes Resort's beachfront. Everyone's welcome, no matter their putting skills, to bring the fun and relaxation of the beach with the excitement of competition. JUNE 05 Kickoff to Summer Market Celebrate the start of summer with the vendor market at Wild Dunes Resort. Over 25 vendors with unique food, boutique finds and little treasures, all while supporting the local businesses that make our community special. 5-6 High Tide Festival A perfect day at Riverfront Park, full of music, dance and Charleston's iconic foods and drinks. Including a marketplace full of local businesses and a lineup of renowned artists, these two days under the sun are nonstop music and dancing. 18 Yoga Fest The summer solstice is the best time to connect with yourself, the earth and others, all while energizing yourself with yoga, with a live music jam to round off the night at James Island County Park. SUMMER Saturdays through November Charleston Farmers Market Enjoy fresh produce, art and music from local farmers, creatives and producers on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Marion Square throughout the summer months until November. Third Thursday, June-October IOP Farmers Market Every third Thursday from June to October, the market is filled with fresh produce, food vendors and live music from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. MAY 16-17 Atomacon Film Festival Two days of multi-genre film and media arts featuring industry experts and over 20 hours of panels and screenings at Trident Technical College. As a female-run event, it's dedicated to lifting voices from all communities with something for everyone. 21 Isle of Paws Music Fest A night of music, food, rescues, pet vendors and contests to celebrate our faithful companions. Held at the Isle of Palms Recreation Department; bring every member of the family, paws included. 22-June 7 Spoleto Festival One of the nation's finest performing arts festivals featuring renowned and emerging artists and performers in opera, theater, dance, orchestra, jazz and more, while showcasing Charleston's historical architecture and beauty. 20 Juneteenth Family Fest Charleston A daylong, community and family-based celebration open to the public filled with art, music, cultural foods and games for children topped with a grand fireworks show. JULY 04 Fireworks & Freedom Festival A celebration of the 250th anniversary of Independence Day at Gahagan Park with food trucks, vendors and live music and a reading of the Declaration of Independence, all culminating in an incredible fireworks show. 04 July 4th Fireworks From the view all along Folly Beach, enjoy the beauty of fireworks over the Atlantic starting at dusk. 05 America's Potluck Charleston Celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Revolutionary War with people all across the country. It's a call for communities to come together, share a meal and enjoy the atmosphere with friends and neighbors. 19 Charleston Caribbean Jerk Festival A family-friendly event celebrating all things Caribbean at Building 64. There'll be food, music and vendors with a particular focus on the iconic Jamaican jerk seasoning, as well as contests for guests to sign up for. 25 Sweetgrass Festival An annual festival with free admission meant to bring attention to the history and traditions of Gullah Geechee people and an opportunity for local sweetgrass basket makers to show off their art at Memorial Waterfront Park.
