I ns tagram. com /Char l es tonWomen CW - 74 CW: When did you decide to go into the business you are in? “I always knew I wanted to own my own business, and, during residency while job hunting, there were not many existing options for my particular specialty as a prosthodontist, so I thought there’s no better time than now to open on my own and provide a much-needed service to the area.” CW: How do you find your passion? “Giving someone their smile back and giving them the confidence to be themselves and feel proud to smile is the most rewarding part of my practice, and it’s what I’m passionate about doing.” CW: Tell us about how you grew up and what or who shaped you into the woman you are today. “I am the first one in my family to become a dentist, but my family members have always owned businesses and started companies. That entrepreneurial mindset has always been a part of my life growing up, so it’s shaped the way I view risk and jumping into the deep end.” CW: Give us some success tips for someone just starting out in your line of work. “Don’t be afraid to take the leap to own your own business.
