Real estate checked all of my boxes and is my passion. ‘Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.’” CW: Tell us about how you grew up and what or who shaped you into the woman you are today. “I moved around growing up. I was born in Texas, then Georgia at age 3, Mississippi at age 10, South Carolina at 13 and North Carolina at 15. Moving forced me to easily adapt to meeting new people, which helps a lot in real estate.” CW: Who influences you in your life currently? “My husband, my children and Smith Spencer. My husband and I work hard and show our children the importance of hard work. We are a great team and build each other up.” CW: Tell us about your family. “My family is my husband, Evan; 6-year-old daughter, Emmons; 4-year-old son, Jennings; Great Dane, Flynn and goldendoodle, Ellie. We’re on James Island and love it!” Sarah Ellen H. Lacke Smith Spencer Real Estate 701 East Bay Street, Ste. 513 Charleston 843-607-4330 smithspencer.com Photo by Jenn Cady.
