VOICE forRea l Es tate. com CW: When did you decide to go into the business you are in? “I decided to go into the real estate business while I was managing our Beachy House Vacation Rentals. It made sense for me to become a sales partner with my husband in real estate. The market was picking up, and I had referrals from my rental clients.” CW: Tell us about how you grew up and what or who shaped you into the woman you are today. “I grew up one of eight kids. We were all very involved in sports, working hard to pay our own way, and were very competitive with each other. My mom and dad were hardworking and very disciplined parents.” CW: If you could have dinner with anyone (alive or passed away), who would it be and why? “If I could have dinner with any one person it would be my dad who passed away in 2006. Every conversation I had with him was always a learning conversation.” CW: Tell us about your family. “My husband, Mark, and I married in Charleston in 1990. We have four children and are involved in our Charleston community. We have made forever friends that we consider family.” Lisa Mitchell Dunes Properties of Charleston 835 Coleman Blvd, Ste. 200 Mount Pleasant 843-864-4601 markmitchellrealty.com Photo by Jenn Cady. “When you’re raising four teenagers , you learn a thing or two about teamwork .” Mark Mitchell 843.847.7980 mmitchell@dunesproperties.com Lisa Mitchell 843.864.4601 lmitchell@dunesproperties.com
