The Kingstide is Daniel Island’s “first and only waterfront restaurant,” making it a fast favorite when Charleston ladies are looking to dine in the sunlight by the shore. The two-story restaurant features wraparound porches on both levels, offering endless views of the Wando River. The downstairs is a perfect place to take a date, but if you’re looking for fresh air and Instagram-worthy cocktails, let the stairs guide you to the picturesque rooftop. The hardest part will be deciding which cocktail to order first, or perhaps where to snap your favorite selfie. The rooftop’s menu has more to it than drinks, and the seafood tower is worth the hype. Justin and Iryna Moore have undoubtedly made North Charleston a dining destination with their new age American restaurant. Boasting unobstructed vistas of the Cooper River, and menu items like steak frité and oyster sliders, it’s a true staple every local will soon come to love. Reviews consistently mention top-notch service, delicious cuisine and views that put the cherry on top. Of all the restaurants on this list, MOMO is the best for a large crowd. Also, if dining outdoors is a family affair, MOMO is also the most kid friendly. If North Charleston wasn’t having a moment before, with riverfront dining at MOMO, it certainly is now.
