Originally started in Kannapolis, North Carolina, in 2018, sisters Ashley Hines, store owner, and Alicia Thompson, the marketing supervisor and photographer, decided to open a second location in Charleston in December 2020. Nostalgia Hollow fits right in with the charm of their Broad Street location, specializing in unique apparel and gifts. “Being new to the area and getting the name out in a COVID atmosphere has its challenges but it is going well so far,” said Thompson. It was only fitting for her and her mother to start Woof Gang Bakery and Grooming in Mount Pleasant in 2016.
