Determined to stay active, she tried various team sports, but nothing quite filled the void until she discovered all-star cheerleading. In 2010, after years of coaching gymnastics, Hodsdon moved to Charleston in search of sunshine and a fresh start. There, she found the perfect place to channel her passion into something new. Blending her gymnastics expertise with the dynamic world of cheer, she founded an all-star program at Flip! Gym called Wolfpack. What began as a spark quickly grew into a thriving community. By 2019, Hodsdon officially launched Pack Athletics, creating a brand built around more than just competition. It was about family, growth and confidence through positive coaching. Since then, Pack Athletics has grown to more than 30 teams and robust recreational programs at both her West Ashley and Mount Pleasant locations. "The Pack culture puts athletes at the forefront of what we do by giving personalized attention from our incredible coaches," Hodsdon says. On April 27, Pack Athletics earned a victory at The Cheerleading Worlds in Orlando, Florida. Competing against more than 30 finalists from across the globe, Pack's Level 6 Worlds Team, Miss 6, took home first place in just their second year at this level. "This victory is a testament to the hard work and determination of our athletes, coaches and support of our Pack families," Hodsdon said. "We are incredibly proud of what our program has accomplished and look forward to continuing to push the boundaries of excellence in our sport." Pack is more than trophies and titles. It's a vibrant, all-ages athletic hub offering tumbling and cheer classes, summer camps, private birthday parties, high school cheer training, tot open gyms, ninja, kids' nights out and more. Families travel from Savannah, Columbia and Myrtle Beach to be part of what Pack has built, making it one of the largest and most welcoming cheer gyms in the Southeast.
