Glory Edim, founder of Well-Read Black Girl, a podcast, literary festival and book club created to highlight the richness and diversity of black women in literature, will speak about her latest work, “Gather Me: A Memoir in Praise of the Books That Saved Me.” Maggie Smith, New York Times bestselling poet and author will review her books, “Good Bones” and “Dear Writer: Pep Talks and Practical Advice for the Creative Life.” Katie Kitamura will discuss “Audition,” a family drama that reads like a psychological thriller. Poet and novelist Patricia Lockwood will present her recent work, “Will There Ever Be Another You.” The festival runs from Nov. 7-16 at the Dock Street Theatre.
